Hairloss, (alopecia in Latin), is generally located on the scalp. Hairloss on the body is usually rare and less noticeable.

Baldness concerns men and women, off course to a different extent and degree. For men, 25% of them start losing their hair by the age of 25 years old, while this percentage goes up to 50% by the age of 50.
